Who I am

I'm Srinivas, the Chief Nut here.

I'm a marketing and growth consultant with 25 years of experience, the last 15 in SaaS and tech. I've written for Mind the Product, HuffPost, Search Engine People, and published "Inbound Marketing in the Age of GPTs."

I've spent my career helping companies grow. But every time I wanted to understand what competitors were doing on their websites, every tool I tried gave me a data dump instead of answers. So I decided to build something better.

What I'm building

Growth for Nuts is a competitive intelligence platform for B2B SaaS companies. It does three things no other tool combines.

First, it crawls competitor websites automatically across 19 verticals: product analytics, legal tech, HR tech, customer success, security, construction, edtech, and more. It identifies the highest-value pages on each site and extracts structured data from every one.

Second, it captures five layers of intelligence from every page it visits: pricing signals, integration ecosystems, trust indicators, competitive positioning, and page structure. This goes far beyond keyword lists or traffic estimates. You see what a competitor actually says about themselves, how they price, who they integrate with, and what social proof they display.

Third, it tracks changes over time. It works like a time machine. You can see what your competitors changed in the past, and you'll know the moment they change anything in the future. No more getting caught napping.

The classification engine uses rules, machine learning, and AI working in sequence. Each one handles what it does best. The entire system was built by a non-technical founder using AI-assisted "vibe coding" with Claude.

The build-in-public journey

This site documents everything. The wins, the dead ends, the pivots. I started with 18 hand-coded filters, rebuilt with AI, added machine learning, scaled to 19 verticals, and built a change detection engine. All of it as a non-technical founder who doesn't write code by hand.
